About the author

A.E. Van Vogt

A.E. Van Vogt was a Canadian science fiction author who was enormously popular in the Golden Age for his fast-moving, idea-dense narratives. Slan and The World of Null-A were among the most celebrated SF novels of the 1940s. His convoluted plotting and surreal atmosphere influenced Philip K. Dick profoundly.
