Ace Atkins is an American journalist and crime writer who has written the authorized continuation of the Robert B. Parker Spenser series alongside his own Quinn Colson Mississippi sheriff series. His own novels are set in the contemporary American South and combine Western-inflected themes with hard-boiled crime fiction.
