Alan Moore
Alan Moore is a British comic book writer considered the most important author in the history of the medium. Watchmen revolutionized the superhero genre, V for Vendetta depicted a fascist Britain resisted by an anarchist in a Guy Fawkes mask, and From Hell is an exhaustive meditation on the Jack the Ripper murders. His work has had an enormous influence on science fiction and fantasy.
