Allan Guthrie is a Scottish crime writer and literary agent whose Two-Way Split and other Scottish crime novels are noted for their extreme noir sensibility, dark humor, and unflinching violence. His debut won the Theakston's Crime Novel of the Year. He is associated with the tartan noir movement and is an important figure in Scottish crime fiction.
