Aristotle of Stagira
Plato's greatest student and the most comprehensive intellect of antiquity, Aristotle founded systematic logic, biology, ethics, politics, poetics, and physics. His work was preserved through Arabic translation and became the backbone of medieval European education. The Nicomachean Ethics remains the foundational text of virtue ethics.
