Ben Aaronovitch is a British author and screenwriter whose Rivers of London series follows a police constable who discovers magic is real in contemporary London. The series has sold millions of copies and is beloved for its humor, authentic police procedural detail, and inventive use of London's geography and history. He also wrote Doctor Who scripts.
