Ben Hecht
Ben Hecht was a Chicago journalist who became a brilliant popular writer and screenwriter, and his novel Erik Dorn is one of the most remarkable American novels of the 1920s. He also wrote A Jew in Love, which caused scandal for its self-hating Jewish portrait.
