The Philosophy of Giambattista Vico

Italian philosopher and historian who dominated Italian cultural life for the first half of the 20th century. His Aesthetics identified intuition with expression; his philosophy of history denied that history is a science. He was the most important opponent of Italian fascism in the cultural sphere.
