Colin Greenland is a British science fiction author whose Take Back Plenty won the Arthur C. Clarke Award and the BSFA Award simultaneously. The novel revived space opera as a genre with its piratical heroine Tabitha Jute navigating a solar system of classic SF tropes. He is also an important critic of science fiction.
