Daniel Keyes
Daniel Keyes was an American author whose Flowers for Algernon is one of the most emotionally devastating science fiction novels of the twentieth century. The story of a mentally disabled man whose intelligence is artificially enhanced and then declines won both the Hugo and Nebula Awards in different formats. It remains a staple of school curricula worldwide.
