David Grossman
Israeli novelist whose work explores grief, loss, and the human capacity for love against the backdrop of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. To the End of the Land is widely regarded as one of the great novels of its era. He writes in Hebrew but reaches a global audience through translation.
