David Weber is an American military science fiction author best known for the Honor Harrington series, which follows a female space fleet admiral through decades of interstellar conflict. The series draws on C.S. Forester's Hornblower novels but with meticulously detailed future technology. He is one of the most popular military SF authors working today.
