Emma Flint is a British crime writer whose debut Little Deaths is a literary crime novel set in 1960s New York based on a real case. Her prose draws on the noir tradition while achieving genuine literary distinction. The novel won the CWA John Creasey New Blood Dagger and was compared to Truman Capote.
