Faye Kellerman is an American crime writer whose Peter Decker and Rina Lazarus series, set in Los Angeles's Orthodox Jewish community, is notable for its authentic portrayal of religious observance within a crime fiction context. She has written over 25 novels and received the Macavity Award. She is married to crime writer Jonathan Kellerman.
