Fletcher Pratt was an American author and naval historian who co-authored the Harold Shea stories with L. Sprague de Camp, a beloved series of dimensional travel adventures. His solo fantasy novel The Well of the Unicorn is a neglected classic of heroic fantasy. He was also an important science fiction critic and editor.
