Ford Madox Ford
Ford was a central figure of Anglo-American literary modernism, both as a collaborator with Conrad and as the author of the Parade's End tetralogy and The Good Soldier. The Good Soldier's unreliable narrator is one of the great technical achievements in twentieth-century fiction.
