Geoffrey Household was a British novelist best known for Rogue Male, a taut, brilliantly conceived thriller about a hunter who attempts to assassinate Hitler for sport and is then hunted across England. The novel is one of the finest chase thrillers ever written. His other novels in the same vein were also praised for their authenticity and tension.
