The Invisible Man

H.G. Wells was a British author who helped define modern science fiction with his explorations of time travel, alien invasion, and genetic engineering. His socially engaged novels used speculative premises to critique class, imperialism, and human nature. He is often called the father of science fiction alongside Jules Verne.
