Harlan Ellison was an American author and screenwriter known for his fierce literary personality and his confrontational, emotionally raw science fiction. His story I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream is one of the most disturbing and celebrated works in the genre. He edited the landmark Dangerous Visions anthologies that defined the New Wave in American science fiction.
