Ian McDonald
Ian McDonald is a British science fiction author who writes consistently from the perspective of the Global South, with novels set in near-future India, Turkey, and Africa. River of Gods, set in a fractured 2047 India, is his masterwork and won the British SF Award. Brasyl is an ambitious multi-timeline novel about quantum mechanics and Brazilian culture.
