James Clavell
James Clavell was a British-Australian author whose Asian Saga novels brought feudal Japan, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia to enormous popular readership. Shogun, his novel about a shipwrecked English sailor in sixteenth-century Japan, became one of the most successful novels of the 1970s.
