Jan Siegel is the pen name of British author Amanda Hemingway, whose Fern Capel trilogy is a Gothic fantasy set in an alternate Yorkshire with Arthurian resonances. Her work combines mythological depth with literary sensibility in a relatively rare combination in commercial fantasy. She also writes fantasy under her own name.
