Jeff VanderMeer
Jeff VanderMeer is an American author whose Southern Reach trilogy, beginning with Annihilation, combined ecological horror with cosmic strangeness in a way that recalled Lovecraft filtered through New Weird sensibility. Annihilation won the Nebula Award and was adapted into an acclaimed film. His work represents the literary edge of contemporary horror fiction.
