Jeffrey Ford
Jeffrey Ford is an American author of literary fantasy and horror whose Well-Built City trilogy is a Kafkaesque secondary world fantasy of great originality. The Portrait of Mrs. Charbuque won the World Fantasy Award for Best Novel. His short fiction is equally celebrated for its imagination and humanity.
