John Ringo is an American military science fiction author best known for his Posleen War series and the Black Tide Rising zombie survival series. His work is in the tradition of Heinlein's military fiction with an emphasis on tactics, weapons, and the experience of combat. He is one of the most commercially successful military SF authors.
