Kwame Kwei-Armah
British-Caribbean playwright and director who was the first Black British playwright to have a play produced in the West End with his own name attached. Elmina's Kitchen and Statement of Regret examine Black British masculinity and community with dramatic power. He is now artistic director of the Young Vic.
