Luce Irigaray
Belgian-French psychoanalyst and feminist philosopher whose Speculum of the Other Woman argued that Western philosophy has constructed woman as the mirror of man, not as a subject in her own right. Her subsequent work developed an ethics and linguistics of sexual difference. She is one of the central figures of French feminist theory.
