Maimonides Moses ben Maimon
Jewish philosopher and physician who synthesized Aristotelian philosophy with Jewish theology in The Guide for the Perplexed. Mishneh Torah is his systematic code of Jewish law. He is the most influential Jewish philosopher of the Middle Ages and remains central to both Jewish and philosophical study.
