Max Gladstone is an American fantasy author whose Craft Sequence depicts a world where dead gods and necromantic lawyers fuel a magical industrial economy. His serialized novel This Is How You Lose the Time War, co-written with Amal El-Mohtar, won the Hugo and Nebula Awards. He is known for his inventive conceptual premises and elegant prose.
