Michael Walzer
American political philosopher whose Spheres of Justice offered a pluralist theory of distributive justice arguing that different social goods have different distributive principles. Just and Unjust Wars revived the just war tradition for the modern age. He is associated with the communitarian critique of Rawlsian liberalism.
