Mohammad-Ali Jamalzadeh
Pioneer of the modern Persian short story whose collection Once Upon a Time (Yaki Bud Yaki Nabud) introduced colloquial language and satirical social observation to Persian fiction. He lived until 105, his career spanning virtually the entire twentieth century.
