Nghi Vo is an American author of fantasy whose Singing Hills Cycle is a series of linked novellas following a cleric who collects stories as she travels a secondary world drawing on Asian aesthetics. When the Tiger Came Down the Mountain won the Hugo Award for Best Novella. Her work is celebrated for its elegant prose and humanist values.
