P. Djeli Clark is a Trinidadian-American author of speculative fiction whose alternate history novellas and novels draw on African and Caribbean history and myth. A Master of Djinn, set in a magical alternate Cairo, won the Hugo and Nebula Awards for Best Novel. His work is a major contribution to Afrofuturism and alternate history.
