Peter Straub was an American horror and fantasy author whose Ghost Story is one of the most celebrated horror novels of the twentieth century. His collaboration with Stephen King, The Talisman and Black House, produced two beloved dark fantasy adventures. His literary horror drew on Henry James and the supernatural tradition with exceptional refinement.
