Susan Buck-Morss
American political philosopher and cultural theorist whose Dialectics of Seeing is the finest study of Benjamin's Arcades Project. Hegel, Haiti, and Universal History argued that Hegel's master-slave dialectic was inspired by the Haitian Revolution. She is one of the most original and far-ranging thinkers in the Benjamin tradition.
