Tarell Alvin McCraney
American playwright whose In Moonlight Black Boys Look Blue became the basis for Barry Jenkins's Oscar-winning film Moonlight. His Brother/Sister Plays explore African American life in New Orleans through a blend of Yoruba mythology and contemporary realism. He won an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
