Terry Pratchett was a British author whose Discworld series became one of the best-selling fantasy franchises in history through its satirical wit and genuine humanism. His forty-one Discworld novels dissected every aspect of human society through the lens of a flat world carried on the backs of four elephants standing on a giant turtle. He also wrote the acclaimed Good Omens with Neil Gaiman.
