Tsitsi Dangarembga
Zimbabwean novelist and filmmaker whose debut Nervous Conditions is a classic of African women's literature. Her trilogy charting the collapse of Zimbabwean society was completed with This Mournable Body, shortlisted for the Booker Prize. She is Zimbabwe's most internationally celebrated literary author.
