Viveca Sten is a Swedish crime writer whose Sandhamn Murders series, set on the beautiful Stockholm archipelago island of Sandhamn, is one of the most popular Scandinavian crime series. Her novels combine island setting with domestic drama and procedural investigation. The television series based on the novels has been hugely successful in Sweden.
