Wajdi Mouawad
Lebanese-Canadian playwright and director whose epic tetralogy Fires (Incendies) achieved international renown, particularly after Denis Villeneuve's film adaptation. His work explores trauma, war, and the search for origins with operatic intensity. He is now director of the Théâtre de la Colline in Paris.
