Wayson Choy
Chinese-Canadian novelist whose The Jade Peony is a lyrical portrait of Vancouver's Chinatown in the 1930s and 1940s. Paper Shadows is his celebrated memoir. He is a foundational figure in Chinese-Canadian literature.
