Neuromancer

William Gibson is an American-Canadian author who essentially founded cyberpunk with his debut novel Neuromancer, which introduced the concept of cyberspace. His work anticipated the internet, hacking culture, and the social impact of technology with remarkable prescience. He coined the phrase cyberspace and remains one of the most influential science fiction authors of the late twentieth century.
