Andrew Taylor is a British crime writer who has worked in both historical and contemporary crime fiction. The Lydmouth series is set in 1950s Britain, and his Roth Trilogy won the Crime Writers' Association Gold Dagger. His more recent William Marwood and Harriet Corsairs novels are set in Victorian England with considerable historical skill.
