Attica Locke
Attica Locke is an American screenwriter and novelist whose crime novels are deeply engaged with the history and politics of African American experience in Texas. Bluebird Bluebird won the Edgar Award for best novel and the CWA Gold Dagger, the first time a single novel has won both prizes in the same year. Her work is among the most politically charged in contemporary American crime fiction.
