Boris Strugatsky
Boris Strugatsky co-authored with his brother Arkady the most celebrated body of Soviet science fiction, including Roadside Picnic and Hard to Be a God. Their novels often used science fiction as a vehicle for philosophical and moral exploration under Soviet censorship. Boris continued to write and publish after Arkady's death in 1991.
