Catherine Cookson
Catherine Cookson was a British novelist whose sagas set in the working-class communities of northeastern England made her one of the most borrowed authors from British public libraries for many years running. She wrote over 100 novels, many of which were adapted for television, and sold over 100 million copies worldwide.
