Charles Grant

Charles Grant was an American horror writer who edited the important Shadows anthology series and wrote numerous horror novels featuring his Connecticut detective Oxrun Station. He was a significant figure in the development of quiet or dark fantasy horror, emphasizing atmosphere and psychological dread over graphic violence. He received multiple Bram Stoker and World Fantasy Awards.
