Dana Stabenow
Dana Stabenow is an American crime writer whose Kate Shugak series, set in Alaska and featuring a former investigator of Aleut heritage, is one of the most geographically and culturally distinctive in American crime fiction. Her novels have an unusually strong sense of Alaska's landscape and its Native cultures. She won the Edgar Award for A Cold Day for Murder.
