David Eddings
David Eddings was an American fantasy author whose Belgariad and Malloreon series were enormously popular in the 1980s and 1990s, introducing millions of readers to epic fantasy. His world-building combined Tolkienesque scope with accessible, character-driven storytelling. He wrote most of his work in close collaboration with his wife Leigh Eddings.
