Emma Bull
Emma Bull is an American fantasy author whose War for the Oaks is widely credited with launching urban fantasy as a commercial genre, combining rock music, Minneapolis setting, and fairy folk in a groundbreaking novel. She co-founded the Scribblies writing group with Steven Brust and others. She also co-wrote Freedom and Necessity with Steven Brust.
